Title to all goods remains with Trade Blinds until full payment has been received. Should payment fall outside of Trade Blinds agreed terms Trade Blinds reserves the right to retain title and remove goods from installation. Further to this no liability for damage to structure caused by removal of afore mentioned goods or that of any consequential liability shall reside with Trade Blinds.
Upon receipt of an order Trade Blinds require full and complete payment. This may be made by Guaranteed Cheque, Postal Order, or Debit/Credit card. Should a Trade Credit agreement be in place payment is due within 28 days of invoice date. In the case of debt recovery being sought to obtain payment the charges related to this action will also be recovered.
Should frustrated delivery arise Trade Blinds will, for 21 days, store the goods prior to disposal at the discretion of Trade Blinds.
Trade Blinds seek to exceed or meet delivery commitments; however these cannot be guaranteed due to external forces. No liability or consequential losses due to late delivery remain with Trade Blinds. Delayed delivery is not accepted as basis for discount on monies owed or order cancellation unless authorised in writing from a director of Trade Blinds.
Trade Blinds accept no liability for loss of goods or damaged caused during transit. Claims may be made against the carrier must be placed within 48 hours of receipt of goods. Trade Blinds recommend that you inspect your delivery before acceptance with courier. If goods are signed not stating “damaged” or “unchecked” for this may result in rejection of the claim by the courier. Where loss of goods has occurred a claim against the courier must be made, in writing, within 5 days of the Invoice date.
Trade Blinds accept full responsibility, for a 12 month period from invoice date, for defective materials or faulty workmanship. Trade Blinds extend only to cover this responsibility through repair or replacement of supplied goods. Trade blinds accept no responsibility for consequential losses where a third party has been contracted for fitting or structural work where blind removal has occurred. Goods must be returned to Trade Blinds at the customer’s expense to enable evaluation. Trade Blinds therefore reserves the right to make a charge for repairs viewed to be form “Wear and Tear”, abuse, or 3rd party alteration. If Evaluation results in your claim being upheld freight will be reimbursed and return will be paid by Trade Blinds. All Goods returned to Trade Blinds must be by accompanied by a goods acceptance code.
Order cancellation must be made in writing. If acceptable to the directorate of Trade Blinds it will be upon the basis that aforementioned goods have not entered a production cycle or that specific none stock items have been procured. If either have taken place the customer shall be liable for any costs relating to work in progress.
Matches between batches of fabric/wood/materials are not guaranteed. A feature of some fabrics is the imperfections of the weaving process Trade Blinds pride themselves on supply a superior quality product and will ensure any related variances will be well within Industry Standards. Where natural materials are used in products such as wooden blinds and wooden woven blinds shades may differ in the product this is due to the individuality and nature of the material used in these products.
Trade Blinds undertakes “Made to Measure” manufacturing of goods to customer’s specifications. Trade Blinds must be informed of the measurement in writing. The information must clearly identify whether the customer measurements are based on BLIND SIZE or RECESS. BLIND SIZE requiring the exact finished size of the Product or RECESS requiring a reduction of 10MM to width and drop allowing a 4mm manufacturing tolerance to either side of the blind. Measurements will be taken to include mechanisms. Should a mis-measure be identified Trade Blinds, if instructed, shall rectify the measurement. This may result in an additional charge. Should a change not be viable Trade Blinds will only begin to remanufacture under a “new Contract” agreement.
Trade Blinds Customers are advised to obtain Samples of Goods should colouring or composition be viewed as a critical factor.
